Bloomin' Marvellous!

Hey guys

A quick blog with some more new stamps.
I had never seen these stamps before and spotted them in Septembers issue of  craft stamper and instantly fell in love with them and the 'Bloomin' Beautiful' feature was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed it and really enjoyed making this card, so thanks for the inspiration Kay Carley :D

Tuxedo black memento ink, Promarkers, pickled raspberry, tumbled glass, frayed burlap distress ink and glamour dust and card......simple yet very prety, love the butterfly.

The stamp set is called JOFY collection 11 and I think they're adorable.....I now have my eye on JOFY collection 16 some super cute beach huts and accessories :D
Some really cute stamps guys and well worth a looksy!

Jo Firth Young the creator of these stamps also has a facebook page with some awesome inspiration here.

Thanks for popping in

Do you Believe in Fairies?

Hello

I decided it's time I used some beautiful stamps I acquired some many weeks ago!

I love fairies and all the magic that surrounds them and I know I'm probably a little bit too old but I don't care.....we can all dream :D

The stamps I used are from Lavinia and the scene scape is called 'Summer haze', there's lots of different scenes and they're gorgeous, really thick card, perfect for heat embossing!

I heat embossed the 'Hobbit home' and 'Mia' in wow primary ebony.
I coloured the stones with my promarkers and painted Mia's wings in with my twinkling H20 paints.
For around the border and Hobbit home I used the 'Creeping vine' stamp, this has a small leaf stamp that comes with it to create extra foliage, its very handy!

Mia's wings are painted with Twinkling H20's

Beautiful stamps and a simple card primarily because of the ready made scene scape :D

Thanks for dropping in folks

'Tala Catching Dreams' with Visible Image

Morning guys :D

I have an extra DT day this week as Cathy is on her hollibobs up in bonnie Scotland, hope she's having a good time :D

We saw the launch of 3 amazing sets over this last week and the Visible Image crew have all been hard at it, making, creating and marketing to name a few!

Today I'm going to show you my Tala creations.....this is my favourite set, I love them all but this one's got the dream-catcher :) and those feathers are gorgeous.

This tag is my fave and I love the striking reds and the feathers.
I used the gorgeous border stamp to make a 'Quiver', this tag is mainly heat embossed with apple red and ebony wow, coloured with promarkers, distress inks, fibres and silver from my treasure chest attached and mounted onto red mirror board.

My next creation is a mixture of grape wow, distress inks, gems and stickles for the sparkle.....Madge said it reminds her of tarot cards and it does me too now she's said it :D

Any questions feel free to ask or pop on over to our facebook group :D

I LOVE this dream catcher .....and I love purple and lime together with lots of sparkle, although it's not showing up great in my pics!

You can see the sparkle a little bit more in this one.

These awesome sets are available to buy at £11.99 each with a very reasonable P&P of £1.50
*Remember they're a LIMITED EDITION*

They are AWESOME and I'm hopefully going to be creating with them today & tomorrow WHOOP WHOOP.......Cheers Watty and Madge, you're an amazing team.....and Madge(Helen) I hope you're preparing a lovely romantic candlelit meal for the Birthday boy?!....donning a little sexy number ;o)

Ok, so now to my creation for today, for Watty himself created with his very own stamps ......
Madge informed me Max was Watty's favourite character, as he is always on his phone ;D
Also the birthday boy loves Monochrome!

A simple but effective card I think!
I love this set <3
I started off with some black and mustard card for my matting and then onto white card I stamped 2 pillars of the bricks (in tuxedo black memento ink) from the fantastic Max Rocks Set
Onto some white Neenah card I heat embossed Max and the 'You rock' stamp again from the 'Set' in Wow Ebony, cut out and painted his T-shirt & the letters in Twinkling H20's Sunflower - I love these they are water colours that shimmer and shine beautifully.
Layered the 'You rock' again on Mustard and black card, adding to the layers with foam pads for dimension, lastly but most importantly I added the silver acrylic letter beads.......Watty :D
For the greeting inside I used one of my fave's LIVE YOUR DREAMS

I hope you all like it and you too Watty :)

Have you entered our August Challenge yet? .......'Anything goes with Visible Image Stamps'......You MUST use a visible Image stamp and NO digi's allowed, the lucky winner receives £10 to spend on awesome stamps and the top 3 get a fab blinkie badge each :D

Our facebook group has been buzzing lately, if you're not already a member then please come along and join us, the more the merrier :D

Ok, now back to my creation this week.....I decided to again go for something other than a card :D
A Grungey/studded Molly was required which suits my style perfectly :o), remember you can also get the Molly Rules stamp set OR if you already have Molly and just require the accessory stamps then if you email via here you can just purchase the accessory stamps :D

To start I painted the MDF heart with mdf chalk paint and crackle medium, when dry I stamped the fabulous Crackle background in pickled raspberry DI.
With the aid of a hammer I added alternate silver studs and black gems all around the border of the heart, after colouring Molly with my promarkers , I re-stamped her head and cut out the skulls and added glamour dust,  attaching with tiny foam pads, and adhering Molly to the heart, along with the Nicki letters.

I thik Molly really looks fab in Pink & black, very striking!

I had a peg in my stash that I glued a skull & crossbones charm and a pink gem to, so memo's can be attached.....
For an example I heat embossed in wow ebony the 'YOU ROCK' from Max Rocks Stamp Set and layered on pink & black card.

Lastly attaching some fibres to hang her :D
I hope you like her, Nicole certainly does :o)

Thanks for dropping in and for all your fabulous comments, I really do appreciate them.
Much Love

Fantastic creations in the Gallery too!
There's also lots of inspiration & chatter on our FB Group page and any new releases are heard of here first!

Today my cards are all made with the FAB Ink Splats Set
The cards were made for samples for Visible Image for their last appearance on 'create and craft'

Hopefully the cards should show you how versatile these stamps are and aside from using them as a background they can be used for many things, on their own or additional to other stamps.

For this simple heart card I just die cut a large heart on paper using the outer sheet and chose 4 colours and splatted away, then layered and matted.

Using random splats and a die cut with a greeting from the stylish & classy Chandelier set.....nice and bright!

I made a template for the 'George Flag' and 'splatted' to my hearts content :D

For the tag I added the 'Live, love, laugh' freebie stamps and some roses, I felt quite Autumnal on this day

If you have any questions regarding my makes then please feel free to ask away :D

So this is what you get for a Bargain price of £6.99 for 4 stamps......buy here.
These stamps are so much fun.....you just splat randomly and it's very enjoyable....they can be paint, ink or blood, whatever you wish!

Thank you for dropping in and a massive thank you for all the lovely comments you leave and I apreciate you taking time to pop in :D

'Monster Love'

Hi Guys

Thought I'd show you a couple of makes from probably my favourite digi images.....
i'm more of a stamp gal but I just LOVE these images by Megan from 'Silly Dilly Beans'
and her 'Big Eye Art' is FAB!

Aren't they just gorgeous, probably don't float everyone's boat but they do mine :D
LOVE 'EM

For the first card I used the image 'Martin's Heart' and for the second card I used the ever so cute 'Heart Monster' colored them in with promarkers and for my backgrounds I used the awesome Ink Splats from my fave Visible Image along with 'Someone special' sentiment and 'I love you' from the 'More than words' range, love these sentiments, they're all interchangeable and the font is very elegant.....finishing off with some black  and red spiders web and black and red polka dot ribbon and a closed rose for Martin's heart :D

Hope you like them and check out all the fab stamps available at Visible Image.

'Anything goes in August' Challenge with Visible Image Stamps

Hi Guys
How are we all?

WOW.....Where is this year going!..... It's August already!!!
Which means it's time for a NEW Challenge here at VISIBLE IMAGE.

The theme this month is Anything goes with Visible Image stamps

*NEW RULE :- From now on you MUST use a VISIBLE IMAGE stamp/stamps *
*NO DIGI'S ALLOWED*

The winner receives £10 to spend on the FAB Visible Image stamps and the top 3 get a blinkie :D
Pop over to our BLOG for some inspiration from our FAB DT and to hear what's been happening from Helen (AKA Madge) in the mega busy month that it's been!
Madge & Watty (AKA Mark) have NOT stopped bless them!

I thought i'd do something instead of a card for a change :D
Got myself some of the MDF hanging plaques and an MDF paint and crackle kit from QVC
Now this comes with instructions but if i'm honest there's not much 'crackle' going on so a bit disappointed!
Anyway I painted the plaque in Jet on the roof and chalk for the house, when 'crackled' and dry I heat embossed the roof with wow vanilla white using the 'wood grain' stamp from the Painted wood set.

I then stamped the 'brick wall' from the Max Rocks set with iced spruce DI.
In mowed lawn DI I stamped the Large tall grass
I heat embossed in wow apple red the heart from Molly Rules and the 'New home' sentiment from More than words......I love these and use them a lot, they're all interchangeable and so handy, in such a beautiful elegant font too, cant wait to have ALL of them :D

Next I used blazing red Staz on ink on shrink plastic for the insects,
which are the large butterfly and dragon fly

I love how you can still see the awesome detail on the butterflies
(one of my MOST favourite stamps... gorgeous).
I then painted another layer of the 'Crackle glaze' but in hindsight I wish I hadn't as it smudged the grass a bit and didn't crackle!

When dry I added some red gems glued the insects on and some lovely red and white roses from my stash,
some fibres to hang and a silver key and 'made with love' charm from my treasure chest

I quite enjoyed having a break from a card :D.....hope you enjoyed my make too :o)

Please pop over to our facebook group if you're not already a member.....drop in for a natter or show us what you've created with Mark's AWESOME stamps, we'd love to see!

Thanks for dropping by
See you soon
Much Love
